MARKETING

The marketing team is responsible for creating campaigns for all events put on by SWID, working closely with other teams to develop marketing strategies, and spreading the word about SWID by designing graphics for social media platforms.

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

The external affairs team is responsible for organizing industry treks and creating design-related internship and external opportunities for SWID members.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

The community initiatives team is responsible for partnering with other on-campus student groups to create campus-wide events. The team also connects Stanford undergraduates with alumni, faculty, and industry professionals in design.   

INTERNAL AFFAIRS

The internal affairs team is responsible for planning and executing events within SWID to promote community bonding and advising.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

The special projects team is responsible for organizing events and activities related to design. The team mainly  orchestrates SWID’s annual design conference during fall quarter, our largest event of the year. 

DESIGN EDUCATION

The design education team is responsible for leading workshops to develop skills and portfolio, both in and outside of the SWID community.
